Restoring back to wordpress v4.9 site

    Hi.
    Having updated WordPress to v5.3 from v4.9, is it possible to restore a site back to a v4.9 backup or is there more to it?

    Hi,

    WP core files can only be backed up if you have UpdraftPlus Premium. I assume that you do not have a backup of the WP core files. What you can do is download WP 4.9 from WP.org website and restore it manually via FTP/cPanel.
