Restored SQL but no posts in Admin Panel?

  • Hi Guys,

    I have already read through some similar issue posts here but haven’t been able to source a solution.

    I basically resurrected an old site that I took a backup of back in 2014 and have successfully (possibly) uploaded that SQL file into my PhpMyadmin and can ‘see’ the posts in that control panel, I cannot however see any posts in the admin panel of my site.

    I have read discussion that the posts probably have a different prefix or sit in a place that the current site isn’t directed too?? Im a totally novice with SQL and literally have no idea where to start, any help would be great!
