    Hello,

I backup every day my website (database+plugins+uploads+themes+others), yesterday I did a restore but it trashed my website. All the templates I saved from Elementor are gone, and my website’s structure (which was using Elementor) is messed up. The restoration was successful, it didn’t throw any error.

    Here’s the log file : https://pastebin.com/wS93LYru
    Please help me with that.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Can you please share both source and destination site links, so that we can compare both the sites?

    Thanks,

I don’t understand your reply. It’s a restoration not a migration. The source and destination is the same and I already provided the link of my website.

    @adamfartassi

From the logs it shows Restoration process went successful!

AFAIK Elementor stores the templates in files, did you also include the template files to be included into the backups?

    Thanks,

Seriously, I don’t want to be rude but could you at least try to read my first post before asking these questions?

I did a backup with everything. All the options your free version has to offer and no it wasn’t successful.
Some of the medias didn’t worked, they were greyed out and I needed to force regeneration of thumbnails. Elementor is messed-up the templates are empty and the structure of my website is a mess. It’s all due to this plugin and I want to dix this.

    Hi,

Looking at the log, it appears that the restoration for the database has failed.

Please could you try to restore the database again? You can manually do this if you can no longer access your website. Please see FAQ for complete details on manual restoration – https://updraftplus.com/faqs/i-want-to-restore-but-have-either-cannot-or-have-failed-to-do-so-from-the-wp-admin-console/

    Regards,

I tried the manual restoration of my database from the SSH but it didn’t change the result, my website is still messed-up.

@adamfartassi Sorry for the delay! We will have to debug this further, Could you please submit a support request here:

@bornforphp I’m willing to pay to fix this, but I’d like to be 100% sure that you’re be able to fix it beforehand.
In this thread alone you’re giving me contradicting anwsers, as you say the restauration was successful but @bcrodua said otherwise.
So I will ask again: Could you garantee me that you’re able to fix this issue if I paid the support for it?
    Regards.

@adamfartassi The log shows the restoration was successful, however to troubleshoot further we will require further more details from your end, As it’s not possible to share the details here, So we request you to open a support ticket at UpdraftPlus.com

“As it’s not possible to share the details here, So we request you to open a support ticket at UpdraftPlus.com”
You mean a paid support ticket, because I didn’t find a way to submit a free one other than here.
Also if it’s a matter of privacy just give me your mail.

@bcrodua I’d like your advise on the matter.

Hi @adamfartassi, I am having the same issue like you. After I restored, all my elementor page is messed up. Did you get your problem solved?
I hope to get my issue solved.

Thanks and have a good day.

    Cheers

Nope. The devs tried to sell me their paid support as you can see in this topic but I didn’t take it since I’m really unsure of their debuging’s skills with the level of their reply. They put a resolved tag but it wasn’t and won’t be resolved.

I just ditched this plugin for another since it gave me headaches when I needed a restoration. I redid everything from scratch.
