Restore sharecounts on new domain

    Hello!

    I just migrated a blog from OldDomain.com to NewDomain.com.

    Is there a way ShareThis can migrate also share counts from OldDomain, including Facebook? I mean Fb made it impossible for a few years already.

    Share count values are stored locally in database? Then I can export the database table containing these values.

    Hello @alergic,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Unfortunately, as the share count is tied to the URL and called via our API, a change in the domain (among other things) will reset the share count, and at this time, there is no way to transfer/export the stats between different URLs.
