    Hello,

During the restore process, Google Chrome is repeatedly presenting popups which tell me the page has crashed. It presents a choice in which I can choose to wait or close the page. See: https://prntscr.com/t032a7

If I choose wait, the popup presents itself again within 20 seconds.

Can you change this behaviour and provide timely updates to the browser while the restore process is working? That will probably prevent these annoying popups.

    Thanks

    Hi,

It is possible that the process is timing out.
As mentioned in the other post, please download the files manually and upload them directly in the “Backup/Restore” tab or via FTP in the “wp-content/updraft” folder.

    Hi bcrodua,

The process is running just fine, but Google Chrome doesn’t know that. It thinks we’re having an infinite loop here and so displays a message to kill the page or wait for the script to end. When the message is dismissed it is displayed again every 20-30 seconds, until the backups are downloaded.

That can be avoided by providing some feedback to the browser, maybe move the process bar a little. Any event which changes the DOM will probably prevent showing this popup.

    Hi,

I will ask our developers to check on this.

    Thanks,
