• Currently when you restore the prior version of a post, all custom field data associated with the post is lost.

This needs to get fixed, so that all custom fields associated with a post are restored along with the rest of the post’s data.

  • Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked. You need to upgrade WordPress asap.

Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Twelve theme with all plugins deactivated?

I have tested this with the latest WordPress Release (3.5.2) and the Twenty Twelve theme.

When you restore an older version of a post, the custom fields are not restored. The Custom fields for the post remain unchanged from the newest version of the post.

This is obviously a bug in WordPress that should get fixed.
