    Hi,

I installed this plugin and it’s simple and amazing. The query I have are the following:

    1. When I registered by an email, it didn’t send any confirmation to the Admin or the User side that the user has been created or anything.

    2. I tried the Lost Password tab, it still didn’t send me any email regarding that.

    3. When I logged in, I can change the password or anything, but if I want to change the profile image, it didn’t give me any option for that.

Can you please consider these points or if anything please let me know.

    thank you
    regards,
    Nikhil

    Hi @ desiamerican26,

    Step by step.

    1. Is the send mail function currently working in your WordPress installation? Clean Login uses the standard way to send emails, wp_mail() function which works with the setup at the dashboard.

    2. Same issue. What host are you using? I can help you.

    3. It’s very simple, but maybe not well documented. Just change your avatar at gravatar.com with the same mail account you used it.

Please, keep me in the loop. Regards,

    Alberto.

    Hi Alberto,

I just did a whole lot of things on gravatar.com.
Added the avatar that was required and email lot of other things.

But of what you said about the wp_mail(). How and where do I check that?
I checked the Dashboard but I couldn’t find anything that I can check.

Can you please guide me with steps for that.

Also, I see there is something that says Email hash. I am not too sure what that is?

Besides this I just realized another issue that the Facebook login on my page is not responding. This just happened with when I installed Clean Plugin. Would there be any fix for that or should I just replace the Social Login widget?

    Please let me know.

    Thank You
    Regards,

    Hi @desiamerican26,

How to check if wp_mail is currently working in your WordPress installation? It’s easy, just try to restore the password via login page (the default) and you should receive a restore email, if not you may contact with your hosting.

Regarding the FB login, what’s the name of the other plugin? I don’t know how they manage the login but Clean Login shouldn’t interfere with the behavior of another plugin. It’s quite strange.

    Keep me update. Regards,

    Alberto

    Hi Alberto,

I am trying different plugins to see if its just one plugin giving me that issue or all of them. What I saw so far it’s all the plugins that I tried giving me issues with that. I am trying to figure out on my server side what’s going on.

    Thank You

    Talking about Restore Password,

I see the link takes the user to the backend of wp. the whole idea of using the clean login is to keep users OUT of the backend.

Is there a way around this to restore the password staying on the front end?

    Thanks

    Dear Jenkisan,

Yes, you can use the [clean-login-restore] shortcode in any webpage and you’ll able to do it from the frontend ??

Please contact us again if you have any doubt. Regards,

    Alberto.
