    Hello,
Due to issues with my theme developer, my entire website was deleted. This lead me to do a complete restore using a back-up on my FTP client. Everything seemed normal on the website except a few bugs, but now when I try to log-in i get

WordPress has been updated! Before we send you on your way, we have to update your database to the newest version.
The update process may take a little while, so please be patient.”

So I then click “update wordpress database” (the only option) and I get
“Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_main_network() in /home/content/68/9629768/html/wp-admin/includes/schema.php on line 564”

    Thye website url is gtchs.org
    Thank you for your help

Looks like it’s working again? How did you fix it?

    It is not working.
This is an issue when I try to log-in to my website through gtchs.org/wp-admin. It is persisting. The website displays, but I can not get in to change any content. I get
“WordPress has been updated! Before we send you on your way, we have to update your database to the newest version.
The update process may take a little while, so please be patient.”

And when I click to update, I get:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_main_network() in /home/content/68/9629768/html/wp-admin/includes/schema.php on line 564

This forum only supports themes available from wp.org, I’m afraid. Commercial themes provide their own support channels.

It is not a Theme issue, the issue with my theme has been taken care of. It is when I try to log-in to my wordpress website. This happened after I restored from my FTP client. I believe it is an update issue.

    Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and the wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php
