    Hello,

I’m having trouble restoring my backups from Google Drive. The download of the backup files failed, and I’m seeing an error message. Even after reinstalling WordPress, I’m unable to restore my website. Can you help me troubleshoot this issue?

     Warnings:

    • This backup set was not known by UpdraftPlus to be created by the current WordPress installation, but was either found in remote storage, or was sent from a remote site. You should make sure that this really is a backup set intended for use on this website, before you restore (rather than a backup set of an unrelated website).

The database is too small to be a valid WordPress database (size: 0 Kb).

    Hello,

Please could you log directly into the Google Drive account that contains the backups listed. What are the file sizes shown for each of the backups?

    Hello,

Thank you for confirming this. Please could you carry out the following steps:

    • Log into Google Drive and download the backups to your computer
    • Go to UpdraftPlus >>Backup / Restore >> Existing backups and click Delete next to the backup set mentioned above – but leave the option to also delete from remote storage *unticked* like this
    • Upload them into the wp-content / updraft folder on your webserver
    • Go to UpdraftPlus >> Backup / Restore and click the Rescan local folder for new new backup sets link shown here
    • Click Restore and follow the process
