restore deleted images

  • Hi to all of you,
    I have deleted by mistake some (a lot actually) fotos from wp-content/uploads, causing a great problem to my site. I think that i will be able to find all these fotos again and upload them, but that would be very difficult for me.
    So I am asking for a way to restore all these pictures by pressing a button (perhaps there is a recycle bin or something like that) or restore the whole site to a previous version before deleting the pictures….

  • @kmikedis if the images in question are not within the uploads folder then I’m afraid they’re gone. Could be worth getting in touch with your hosting company and seeing if they have a recent backup.

    James is right. Unless you or your hosting provider have a back up, the images will need to be re-uploaded. ??

    I realized that myself the hard way!!! I reloaded everything, but now the site is as good as new!
