    I can not restore the backup I have made , it says : ” The importer could not be started in the background, please disable basic authentication and try again. ”

    I dont no where and what to do here . Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

    Thanks for using CusRev.

    According to the message, I think you are trying to import backup file for your site, not only the reviews. Thus, it does not relate to CusRev itself. Please contact the import plugin support to get more information.

    @pear8398 Thanks for reply , I have 2 sites from site one I have taken the backup (exported) from CusRev , now when I go back to site 2 and try to upload true CusRev (import function) the backup of my reviews I get that error ( sorry my english) . : ?: ” The importer could not be started in the background, please disable basic authentication and try again. ”

    Thanks for getting back to us. The error message is self-explanatory in this case. The import requires WP Cron to run in background but it is blocked by the basic authorization that you set up on your website. Please share URL of the website where you get this error.

    @pistachio6321 the New site is on this domain. The one I wont to restore my backups.organicurunler.com and organic.dukkanzeze.com is the one Where my old files are.

    Ok, thanks, so, the issue is in the basic authorization that is blocking WP Cron on your website. Please disable it and try again.

    Thank you , it was in my server configuration , “modsecurity” disabled and worked perfect . but now I need to edit via text editor my backup I guess or can you give me a hint ? becoze I get errors now like : Error: The product with ID = 169 is not available in this WooCommerce store.

    Edit : I have opened on my texteditor and corrected the ID numbers by hand and it worked I am backed up .

    Great, thanks for letting us know!

    Yes, if product IDs are different between your old and new sites, you will need to edit them manually. Otherwise, the plugin has no way to know what product ID from the old site corresponds to which product ID on the new site.
