restore back up without access to site

Unfortunately I am locked out of my wp-admin I have backup through FTP but can only see txt files in wp-content/updraft is it possible to restore one of these backup files to enable access to my wp-dashboard. If so could someone please advise how I can do it. Trouble is I am 74 and non-technical so words of one syllable would be appreciated. Just think you are helping your grand-father thank you any help really appreciated.
I am using my correct username and password on the wp log-in page but it comes back username or password incorrect. When I try to get new password by entering correct email address I get There is no user registered with that email address. Which is incorrect as this is the only email address WordPress and updraft still use it when communicating with me. Any further information requested will be answered quickly

The txt files in ‘wp-content/updraft’ are the log files. When UpdraftPlus uploads backups to remote storage, it deletes the local copy in ‘wp-content/updraft’.
Your backup files will be stored in the remote storage location that you set.We have a guide on restoring manually available here:
https://updraftplus.com/faqs/i-want-to-restore-but-have-either-cannot-or-have-failed-to-do-so-from-the-wp-admin-console/Alternatively, after you have downloaded the backup files, you can re-install a fresh copy of WordPress. Then install UpdraftPlus again, and upload and restore the backup files through the Existing Backups tab.
