Restoration stalls after a minute now all uploads are gone

    Good day, my site started giving internal 500 errors after a few plugin updates. I tried in vain for several hours as restore a local backup, but it would freeze at 37% and google would give a page unresponsive error… I have had to reinstall all the themes and plugins from scratch and slowly rebuild the site. I am now noticing that years worth of uploads are now gone (even from me folders on the back end). Is there a way to retrieve these?

    @chipegoh Please contact us here and we can help you restoring your backup.

    As long as you have created a full backup of your website with WP Staging, nothing will be lost. We also have a separate extraction tool in WP Staging Pro that runs without WordPress in case your website is no longer accessible.
