“Restock refunded items” not working

Probleme refund :
Hello. I have a problem with stock levels not being increased after I refund an order, even though the “Restock refunded items” checkbox is checked.
I have looked for solutions online, tried the following things and repeated the order / refund process every time but with no luck :
– disable every plugin except woocommerce
– switch my theme (OceanWP) to storefront
– tried with different payment methods (bank wire, paypal (sandbox) etc)It still doesn’t work.
It does work when I manually cancel (not refund) an order though. Then the stock levels increase again.
It looks like the “refund” status doesn’t trigger the action that should increase stock levels.
Any other solution I should try to fix this ?

As a side note, I’m not using SSL / HTTPS yet as this is a development website and not one in production yet.
