• When I try to download a file after submitting the email in the form I get the following error:

    {“code”:”rest_no_route”,”message”:”No route was found matching the URL and request method”,”data”:{“status”:404}}

    I am using the following plugins.

    Contact Form 7 Version 5.0
    Download Monitor Version 4.0.2
    Email Before Download Version 5.1.1

    Any idea?

  • After upgrading to the above versions, I am also receiving this error. It cannot find the download and the [Download Not Found] link points to the “rest_no_route” message as in the above post.

    I fixed this issue… I think it was the incorrect download ID, although I did try the correct one previously and it hadn’t worked… must have been a different issue (was making many changes attempting to get it to work).

    All good with respect to this particular issue now.

    Thank you to the M&S team for all your efforts.

    Strange, it still doesn’t work for me.

    I verified that the file exist on the server and that I can download it.

    The code looks like this in my page:

    [email-download download_id="463" contact_form_id="420"]

    I get the email but when I try to download the file by pressing on the link I get

    {"code":"rest_no_route","message":"No route was found matching the URL and request method","data":{"status":404}}

    The link that points to the file looks like this:

    https://supportform.se/wp-json/ebd/file/

    What did you do to fix the problem?

    It looks like it’s not adding the download uid to the link.

    I’ll take a look and see what I can find out.
