It seems there is an issue with your WordPress configuration and the core REST API functionality is not available. This is crucial as Optimole relies on this functionality in order to work.

The root cause might be either a security plugin which blocks this feature or some faulty server configuration which constrain this WordPress feature. You can try to disable any of the security plugins that you use in order to see if the issue persists or ask the hosting company to further investigate. Check this: https://prnt.sc/rg9net

    How to solve this problem?

  • Hello,

This is can usually caused by a security plugin if not configured correctly or if there were changes made to the .htaccess file.

Can you please disable security plugins one by one if you use them and see if this is resolved just to pinpoint the issue? Also you should make sure that you use the default .htaccess file and afterwards add your changes if any.

If you still have issues please contact us at https://optimole.com/#contact

    Thank you!

Hi, I am having the same issue, how do you resolve this?

    Hello,

As mentioned previously this can usually be caused by a security plugin if not configured correctly or if there were changes made to the .htaccess file.
If you are using plugins like WordFence you should put them into learning mode or temporarily stop them and try to connect again.

If you still have issues please contact us at https://optimole.com/#contact

    Thank you!

Here are the plugins I have on my site:

Hi, same issue here. I have contacted my host provider but the only info i got was that they need a IP Adress that my server connects to or something. Can you provide something like this?

    Hi @moritz0grammer,

We don’t have an IP that you can whitelist as they are bound to change.

Hi, I am having the same issue, how do you resolve this?

Same error here, but when I simply “purge caches” of W3TotalCache, it starts working.

Fixed this by switching my server from nginx to apache.
Then permalinks switching to automatically fix the htaccess file.
