Hi, before I apply a plugin I test it on my localhost (apache 2.4.53 on Win 10/64, PHP 8.1.6, cURL 7.77.0, imagick 3.7.0.).
As this is a localhost, it is not accessible.
If it works locally, I would like to apply it on ma site https://www.aschihaas.ch

And this is my problem: after installin of your plugin, I converted my imagies in the upload-folders. Everything seems to work.
But if I had a look at the state of the site, it showed to similar errors:
1)REST-API error, cURL error 28 = timeout after 10000 milliseconds
2)Loopback not working, cURL error 28 after 10001 milliseconds

    What is wrong?
    Thanks for your answers,
    Aschi

    Hello @aschi,

    Thanks for your message.

Can you provide more information on REST API problems? Where did you get this information from?

    Best,
    Mateusz

    Hi Mateusz,
Tank you for your answer. The message comes from WordPress, when I ask for the health of my installation (It is set in Germann: Dashboard>Werkzeuge>Webseiten-Zustand).

The message of “Loopback error” I had yesterday has gone, but the Rest-API is still here:

“Die REST-API-Anfrage ist aufgrund eines Fehlers fehlgeschlagen.
Fehler: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10007 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)”

    Best,
    Aschi

@aschi How do you suspect these issues have something to do with my plugin? I would be grateful for more information on this.

    @mateusz,
If I deactivate your plugin the error is away! Maybe it would not work with my other plugins. But I need them.
Perhaps I should wait until WordPress integrates webP…

@aschi Thanks for your anwswer. Do you have active debugging to the debug.log file? Do you have any errors with the debug.log file?

    (@aschi)

    Hi@mateusz,
I just enabled the debug and got some entries. I think the PHP-errors are important. I copied it and insert it further down. Theoretically the debug-file should be downloadable, but it would not work on my local installation.
I also tried to deactivate my picture-plugins, i.e. foogallery and foobox-imige-lightbox, but the error is still there. Hope that the debug extract will help, here

If you see anything, we will work on. But I do not wante to waste your time: something on my localhost must be special.
Thank you and kind regards Aschi

@aschi Unfortunately, having such limited information, I am not able to indicate the potential source of the problem. I have not encountered such a problem despite the fact that the plugin is very popular. I would like to help, but you understand – in this situation it is impossible.

@mateusz Thank you for your answer. I understand that you cannot see why this happend on my local system. I am glad to hear that your plugin is quite popular and works on many sites.
But as the plugin does not work on my test-system (for any reason) I would not dare to implement it on myx live-site. So I will uninstall it.

    Thank you and kind regards,
    Aschi
