REST API availability

  • Hi,
    I installed Health Check & Troubleshooting and I see the following issues on the site status page
    “REST API availability: The REST API did not process the ‘context’ query parameter correctly.” https://prnt.sc/nf54m5

    what does it mean? and what should I do to fix it?

    Hiya,

    This means you may not be able to edit posts or pages properly (if you can, you can disregard this, as it may be the test is blocked by a security plugin or similar which still lets regular post edits work).

    If you are unable to edit posts or pages properly, check if you have security plugins, or any other plugin for that matter, that is set to block REST API requests in any way, if you are using a WAF (Web Application Firewall) of some sorts, check if they’ve logged blocking any requests as well, as that’s the second likely culprit.
