It’s not “clean environment”, I’ve many different plugins that can interact with WC.

In web interface anybody easy can create custom product attribute with spaces and MiXeD case in attribute name. Spaces and CaSeS are saved (and kept).
In WP CLI (and AFAIK anywhere in REST) such attribute names are showed as lowercased-dashed.

Is it bug, feature, or misconfigured and overplugined system?

  • Hi @rp181077

Thanks for your question, but as customization and development oriented topics are beyond the scope of support we are able to provide on this forum, your query may not get the best answer here. Nonetheless, in order for us to understand your setup better, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Also, if you could share screenshots that show the problem, that would be helpful. We recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

For your reference, here is our documentation for REST API: https://woocommerce.github.io/woocommerce-rest-api-docs/#introduction

If you are using any of our premium plugins you can open a ticket with us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support, where you can get official WooCommerce support.

    Thanks

We’ve not heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread closed. Hopefully, the above info was helpful.

If you have further questions, please feel free to open a new topic.
