Responsive Youtube Video link in WordPress

I want a responsive Youtube video on my page. Supposedly I can just paste the youtube link into my page on a line by itself. This works great! I see it in the editor and on the page. The problem is when I go to a mobile device it doesn’t shirnk.

It seems odd that wordpress wouldn’t have made this ability to add videos quickly but without the option to be responsive. Am I missing something?
