    Dear Tobias,

I’m thinking of adopting your table plugin, and leave my current one. Not in the least since you allow for automatic import.

I’d like to know the following:

The Responsive Tables extension allows for responsiveness of tables via their shortcodes. I can’t seem to alter the table shortcode in the WordPress backend, so I assume one needs to alter the shortcode in the front-end page editor (I am using the Layers template). Is this correct?

If altering a shortcode for responsiveness can only be done in the front-end editor, will the table stay responsive after an automatic update, or do I need to alter the shortcode manually again?

I hope I made myself clear.

    With kind regards,

    Luca Spanjaard

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble. Also, please excuse the long wait for a reply. I just returned from holidays last night and was not able to reply earlier. Thanks for your understanding.

You only need to edit the Shortcode on the page where you embed the table. It has nothing to do with the table data, so an automatic update will not affect this at all.

    Regards,
    Tobias
