I’m pretty sure you heard a lot about it, but i would like to ask about responsive behaviour of tables again.

So i’m using Responsive Tables addon atm, but no matter how i look on it it’s just inconvenient.

I was thinking about how to make it better – there’s no “best” option, but maybe i found one more option:
    https://exisweb.net/responsive-table-plugins-and-patterns
    – check #3, as you can see content of table is in one column, with just few rows/column this option seeems really convenient for phone users.

Is there some kind of possibility to make tables look like it on phones? I mean for tablets slider option might be better, but for phones not necessarily.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Yes, responsiveness for tables is still a big issue, and I also haven’t found a way that works for the majority of users. Tables are just too different.

Because of that, I’m not really eagar to add other modes for responsiveness to TablePress, without first thinking about this in a big picture.

At the moment, I can therefore only suggest that you try to add this JS library from that link to your site manually (so that TablePress basically only creates the HTML structure of the table).

    Regards,
    Tobias
