Responsive Problem 480px

I am having a problem with the responsive aspect of this site. Not matter what I do when view at 480px or below there is a huge white space under the slider. It seems stuck at a height of 460px no matter how I change the height parameters or set the min-height.

I did set the headline beneath the slider to display: none because the client didn’t want anything there. I’ve also changed most of the margins because they wanted more space above the fold. However it appears that the setting is in the slider css somehow, but I can’t seem to pinpoint it.
