I am using a commercial premium theme that I think is based on 2013. I am using the mystickymenu plugin and I have messed with every setting I know to mess with but to no avail. My website is YouSoBroke.com

I have seen this used in a similar website and it looks great, but I am unable to replicate it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would like for the menu and search to be on the left of the logo in the header and when I scroll down for it to remain there as well when it becomes sticky. the other site to reference is this is why im broke dot com. It looks great on that site and I would like the same on mine since we have similar sites. Awesome plugin, its just im not that well versed enough to implement it. thanks

To follow up and clarify, I am wanting the responsive menu in the header and for it to be able to stay in the header when scrolled. Thanks

    Hi wlaury,

There is an option to use called “Fixed Positioning” under the Style Settings heading, which will mean that the menu stays in the same place even when the page is scrolled.

Please let me know if this is what you are after and if it helps?

    Many thanks

Thank you kindly for your response, but at this point I haven’t been able to get it to show up at all. If I could get it to show up then I would tackle the positioning issue. I love the functionality of the plugin and would really like to use it. It looks great on the site that I referenced above.

The fixed positioning box was ticked.

I put the following code in the header.php

    <?php echo do_shortcode(‘[responsive-menu]’); ?>

Do I need to style it in the syle sheet?

The menu is showing up on the mobile version but not on the computer version. Also, the categories don’t show anything either. Any suggestions? Thanks

    Hi wlaury,

I can see that this is not currently installed on your site, can you confirm that you currently have the wp_head() and wp_footer() function calls inside the header.php and footer.php files of your theme?

If not, these will need to be added in.

    Many thanks

its not working on my 2014 theme

it works fine on my mobile device

    Hi pbravin,

Is that a question or a statement?

You will have to give me a little bit more to work with if you have an issue with the plugin on your site?

    Many thanks

    Peter

its a statement–it doesnt work on my chrome browser on my mac–when i scroll it down the 3 line menu icon stays with the header bar

in my mobile it moves away from the header bar as i scroll down

    hope this helps

    sorry for not being clear

    phil

    Hey Phil,

    That’s working…

What mobile are you using exactly so I can check? I know some older mobiles don’t support the fixed positioning.

    Many thanks

    Hey Phil,

Apologies, I was in a rush in my last reply on the way to work and didn’t finish my first sentence off! Was meant to say It’s a shame that’s working on not all places.

Unfortunately I don’t have a mac to test on, however I will try and find one this weekend and look into this issue for you… can you provide me with a URL to your site so I can check?

    Many thanks

    Peter
