    Hello dFactory,

    1. Any news regarding the bug I have mentioned in my previous posts ?
It’s more than boring to be obliged to modify manually the [caption] part in Text edition for each new image you enter in an article or page.

    2. New bug I have just discovered.
When an image is open in its RL 1.6.6 windows, you can move back and forth with the arrow keys.
But, I accidentally pressed the Enter key and then it was ugly. You loose the image but not the lightbox window and you are stuck. Only solution for getting back on track is to refresh the page in your Web browser.
Same problem confirmed with both the latest Firefox and Chromium browsers under GNU/Linux (several distributions) and Windows (several versions).

You can verify that on my Web site: https://www.linuxrouen.fr/wp/

    Thank you. Cheers.

    Hello dFactory,

Happy New Year and Best Wishes for 2016!

Any news regarding the 2 bugs I have reported two week ago regarding RL 1.6.6 / WP 4.4?

    Do you confirm them?

    Thank you. Cheers.

    Hello dFactory,

As I have written few hours ago in this other thread:
“After few hours of back and forth new tests, I have found the WHY of – my and others – problem I have mentioned one month ago and which is still with no solution. Now, I will give later on today my Very Simple Solution (VSS) into my second thread”; i.e. this one.

So, here we are. The behavior of WP 4.4 and + / RL 1.6.5 and + couple has changed. This is a fact confirmed by others users.

So, rather than applying manually my above mentioned boring workaround, I have found a VSS for fixing the problem.

In a new or already existing article / page do the following for inserting an image from the WP Media Library (I’m using the French version of WP/RL):
    – Add Media
    – In the Insert Media, click on the appropriate image
    – BUT before clicking on the Insert in the article / page button
    – Down right in the same windows under “Parameters of the attached file”, modify “Link to” from “None” to “Media file”.
    – Finish by clicking on Insert in the article / page button
    And you are done!
This has to be done just once, yes-yes, and after that you are back on track with the same good behavior of the RL 1.6.5 / WP 4.3.1 couple.

    Thank you. Regards,
    Joe

many thanks or your solution the additional step during adding a image into article works perfect.

    @dfactory
i can’t believe that this bug is not fixed in latest RL Version?

i mean in WP 4.3 it worked perfect without the following step:

” Down right in the same windows under “Parameters of the attached file”, modify “Link to” from “None” to “Media file”.

and in WP 4.4 we have to do now this additional setting for each image??

    thats really strange!
