No I didn’t change the theme. And yes, I was able to. It was a conflict with a plugin I am using, Branda plugin. I didn’t want to get rid of the plugin, so I checked what functionality of the plugin was creating the issue. Turns out it was the Header functionality. I turned it off and the responsive issue was solved.
I’m not sure if it’s the same plugin or function is causing issues for you. It is most likely a plugin or CSS conflict as the author @vapvarun says.
To find the cause:
Deactivate all plugins on your site. If the response issue is corrected, some plugin is causing the issue. If it’s not corrected it’s a CSS conflict.
If it is a plugin conflict, we have to find what plugin is causing it. To find the mischievous one:
Activate plugins one by one. Refresh the front end of your site after activating each plugin. Finally when you activate the conflicting plugin, the responsive issue will come back.
It’s a little time consuming work, if you have lots of plugins.
