responsive issue

Hi, check out my main page https://www.derekbeck.com/ on a phone, and you’ll see that this slider has some strange spacing issues; the type 1 template’s bottom caption overlay spreads 100% wide, but the image does not. It’s off on the right side. It’s fine on a full screen though. Any ideas how to fix?

Also, any CSS suggestions on keeping the title readable and visible on a phone, when the scale is smaller?
