Responsive Images on Pages with WordPress 4.4

  • Since WordPress 4.4 responsive images as post attachments work out of the box. However, i can’t seem to find a solution, to provide responsive images on pages.

    It seems to me, that this has worked with your plugin before version 3.0 when the srcset attribute was still inserted into the editor.

    Is there any possibility make this work? ideally by using a filter to add the attributes to the img element like its done with post images.

    Hi @silentdrummer,

    The code from this plugin that was integrated into WordPress 4.4 should add this functionality natively to both posts and pages. Can you try removing other plugins and confirm that there isn’t something else conflicting with responsive images on your pages?

    If that doesn’t work, try switching to a default theme and let me know if you can still reproduce this issue.

    Hi Joe,

    thanks for clarifying this! It indeed seems to be a problem of the Page Builder plugin. I hope there will be responsive image support soon!
