    Hello,

I am using TablePress and the extension ‘responsive table 1.7’ (both fully activated)
I unchecked the box ‘enable horizontal scrolling’ and I use [table id=26 responsive=”scroll” /] as a code.
The horizontal scrolling works at laptop but not on mobile.
I read many blogs but could not find the solution.
    Can you please help,

    Thanks,
    Frits

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I tried on a few tables that I could find on your site, and there, the scrolling worked fine. Where exactly does the problem happen?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

    Thanks for your reply.
The problem is that the horizontal scrolling works perfectly fine at a laptop but not on a mobile. Also not working on a tablet.
If you search on the site for example for ‘paul’ and then click on one of the two search results, you will see the table. On a mobile phone you only see 4 columns. Instead of the total 14 columns that you will see on your laptop.

    Hi,

I still can’t reproduce problems here. I think I found that table with “Paul”, and yes, it does not fit on a mobile screen and only 4 columns are visible – but you can then scroll horizontally by dragging with the finger, which is exactly what that scroll mode is supposed to do.

    Hi Tobias,

Thanks again. Still weird though. On my Iphone 7 it does not work. And when I try any other TablePress sites (e.g. https://tablepress.org/demo) it scrolls easily to the right. Do you have any clue?

    Best, Frits

    Hi,

it might be that your theme is interfering somehow then, but I can’t see how ??

    Regards,
    Tobias
