Response Time problem with version 3

I upgraded from the prior version of Xtreme to ver 3 and response time went from fast to 10-20 seconds. I reinstalled prior version 2.1.3 and response time went back to normal. Site is at https://davidsplace.org Are there any performance issues to tune in version 3? Thanks, I’ve used xtreme since it was released, having upgraded from weaver II pro and really like the features.
