• Language files were not recognized. When I selected the Translate function enabled by Loco Translate, all the language files (.po) were displayed with a message “This bundle isn’t fully configured, so we don’t know what the following files are for. Click the setup tab to complete the bundle configuration.”

Support first delayed by asking me which language — when I’d posted the error message and asked for configuration assistance.

Then, I was told that “it works fine for me” and “it must be your problem.” The only support offered was to me to go deactivate all other plugins to see if there was a conflict. This “go fish” response was completely unhelpful and impossible — I have business-essential tools running on the site.

Yes, it is my problem. So where was any support for _my_ problem? Absent.

If a supposedly pervasive plugin (would be used to control content access) isn’t going to ‘play nice’ with other plugins and is going to brag about being available in multiple languages (which of necessity requires working with translation software), they should have at least offered a pointer to where the settings could be manually configured in the code, a code snippet or something, not just tell me to “Go fish.”

WordPress has many many thousands of plugins. There is no way we can guarantee that it will be compatible with all these plugins. We never use that plugin because we do our translation differently than how you are doing it.

Anyway, That other plugin is picking up the wrong “text domain” value for the language file of our plugin which is causing the issue.

Do the following to correct it:

    1) Go to the “Advanced” setup tab of the “Loco Translate” plugin

    2) Edit the value of the “Text domain” field to the following:

    swpm

    3) Edit the value of the “File prefix” field to the following:

    swpm

Save it and that should do it.
