RESOLVING API KEY ISSUE FOR YOU TUBE

  • If you are using a self hosted blog you surely didn’t bother to get an account at wordpress.com. Ho to that adress and sign up for an account, my Clog is elblogpicnic.com and its self hosted, what I needed to get an API key is to have an “elblogpicnic.wordpress.com account, I guess its not a software feature but a web future from thw wordpress people.

    after you’ve registered and went to your mail to confirm the account activation go into you’re dashboard, signing in from wordpress.com and its going to be under the “Users/Your Profile” menu, or go directly from the “My Profile” button on the upper left.

    In your post title, you mention Youttube but in your post, it’s Akismet.

    And, if you’re looking for your Akismet key, all you do is sign up for an account, not a blog. The Akismet API key is mailed to you.
