• Great plugin! I’ve used it on a site and it worked awesome, so thanks!

I’m just wondering about images that exist on the site that were *imported* from another WordPress blog? I setup a new site and then imported all the old blog posts with images/attachments, and there are hundreds of oversized images. However, when I click the “Search images…” button in the Imsanity settings, it only finds the images that I actually uploaded manually on the new site.

Is there are way to get Imsanity to recognize the imported pictures and resize those as well? They are all in the uploads folder along with the new ones, so I’m not sure.

    Thanks for any help!

  • Imsanity uses the wp-meta table to locate images so if they’re in there with size information then Imsanity can find them. If they’re not in there or they don’t contain size information then imsanity unfortunately can’t locate them.

Sometimes they won’t contain size information when the images were moved from an install that didn’t have GD enabled, for example.
