resizing images?

    I have noticed when using this plugin that some images show up as 5000 + pixels but when I download it the maximum pixel size is 2560. First off, just wondering how that is happening. Then, another question, is there a way to have it resized smaller upon download so that if I don’t want such a large image I can have one more like 600 pixels wide? Thanks.
