I’m looking for help to resize all my images to fill the post box area. Ideally, they would all be the same width and height to be uniform throughout my blog. You can see on my home page that I have three images in two posts and they are all different sizes. I don’t know if there is code I need to add to my custom CSS or to my functions.php file. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Sterling

You can set your desired sizes for thumbnail, medium, and large images under Settings > Media. If you make changes here, you’ll need to regenerate your already-uploaded images using a plugin like this one.

To maintain the proper height/width proportions for each image – i.e. so that images aren’t stretched vertically or horizontally – and to avoid cropping, sometimes the length or height of an image you insert may not end up being exactly the number of pixels you specify in your settings.

Let me know if you have any questions about this.

Thanks, Kathryn. I’ll keep that in mind.
