• Hello, I have been using WordPress for a few years now, and the only thing that keeps me wasting hours of time is trying to resize tables with a mouse, like you can in Word or Publisher. Is there a program that is better than Tablepress or Table Maker? Or is there some trick in the settings where I can insert the values? The former would be preferable, I am no coder and the simpler the better!

I also cannot figure out how to colour all parts of the table, I only managed to do the outside box as you can see at the link provided. Note also the overlapping lines of the table which is typical of not being able to resize accurately with the mouse.

    thanks!

  • Hi! @manvantara777,

Can you please explain bit more. Like do you want the resize table thing for above mentioned link or page? or for all the pages with such structure?

It seems if it is just a page or page(s) with such structure then i think you can go for custom post types without using table. Just simple divs and you are done.

Let me know if you have any queries.

Just for the above page right now but for any other task, that requires that I insert a mixture of graphics, payment gateway code like the example I gave. I take it you looked at that link? I want to keep it simple and neat and find tables do that quite well.

How would you use “divs” in my example to get the same effect at the link I provided?

    Thanks!

Than it seems Custom Post Types is the only solution for you.

You can play with it the way you like. One of the reason why i love wordpress ??
