Resize Image on Mobile Phones

I’m using the theme Tesseract on this page:
The front image looks fine on computers, but on mobile phones one only sees the left part of the picture, and can’t scroll around to see more.
I’ve tried all manner of plug-ins, tags, and css but can’t change it at all. No matter what I change, the image stays as is.
