    Hey guys,

Having 0 luck when it comes to making these card input fields taller, they’re currently barely tall enough to fit the card payment method icons!

If you add a product to the basket then checkout you can see what we mean.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

    Hey @jenkinsmi ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you would like to adjust the height of the card input fields as they are too small, is this correct?

I have gone to your site and see what you mean:

It’s possible that this may be the cause of the current theme you are using on your site, as the default input fields display as below:

To check, you can temporarily switch your theme to a default theme, such as Storefront, and see if this makes any difference.

If so, I’d suggest reaching out to your theme developers for further help with this.

    Cheers!

Unfortunately no luck, theme writers couldn’t see how their theme could be causing this. It’s a barebone file structure theme and I handmade the site.

    Their message:

This doesn’t look like something Lumberjack itself would cause. It appears the inline CSS for this form input field (that lives inside the iframe) sets?padding?for the input to?var(--p-spacing3)?however in the same block at the bottom they overwrite the padding top and bottom setting it to 0.

Natively it seems like an issue with the WooCommerce and/or Stripe side of things. I’m not sure what configuration or control you have over these fields anywhere, so it could also be your configuration of this?

To confirm this, please try switching to the Storefront theme temporarily.

You don’t need to disrupt your live site, simply create a staging environment with WP-STAGING and change the theme there. If the fields still render incorrectly, please attach a copy of your site’s system status report.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status > Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”, finally, paste it here in your response or in a Gist so we can investigate further.

    Cheers!
