resintall WordPress using an exsiting database

  • Hello All,

    I am trying to do a fresh install of wordpress 3.0 using my existing database.

    My old blog has about 100 posts and I would hate to lose it all.

    I’m not to use how to proceed.

    If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

  • Just amend wp-config.php to use the connection details for your existing database and upload all files. You won’t need to run any install.
