Reshipping orders

I’m trying to work out how to reship orders in Woocommerce.
I understand that when I fulfilment my order, I mark it as complete. This is effectively the shipment date of the order. (There are various plugins that enable adding a tracking number, if the item is sent tracked)
However, what if the customer does not receive their item (ie: it gets lost in transit)? How do I do a ‘reship’?
I can’t mark it as ‘complete’ again, as it is already complete.
Somehow I need to let the Woocommerce inventory needs to know that the product was sent out twice, and there needs to be a log of both shipment dates (and possibly both tracking numbers) on the order comments.Any suggestions?
