Reset_cookie short code

  • I entered the shortcode [ginger_reset_cookie class=”” text=”REVOCA CONSENSO” redirect_url=”https://lufrailidisupra.it/”%5D but nothing happens at all. The visitor continues to browse the site as before and the banner does not appear to request consent.
    Cookies are not deleted.
    Can anyone tell me why?

  • Hi,
    Go to FTP and in the file reset-cookie.js ginger/front/js/reset-cookie.js add this right after the function delete_cookie(name, url) { :

    document.cookie = "ginger-cookie=; expires=Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 UTC; path=/;";

    (don’t delete anything, just add the string)

    Oh and remember: the change will be deleted with the new update, but hey – maybe we won’t have to make the change with the new update ??
