Reset wordpress

  • Dear all

    I wonder if somebody here could help me out:

    I am trying to reset the wordpress into its original form, I did modify some coding in the css, phpo, etc. but now I would like to reset all keeping all my information, etc. comments made by people in my blog, etc.

    Any help?

    I suspect you are talking about its “skin” such as provided by any given theme, yes?

    Specifically where? If you have modified theme files, delete the theme and replace it with a fresh copy…and then in the future only make changes by using a Child Theme so you never have to do that again.

    edit: Theme settings saved at Dashboard > Appearance > Customize are saved in the database for each theme and can only be un-done by deselecting them.
