I updated my wordpress website and then received the below error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp() in /home2/rmiller/public_html/wp-blog-header.php on line 14

And I cannot login to WordPress to see the dashboard.
I tried following some advice from here to disable plugins etc and reupload some files but I think I have now really messed up my site, as I think I have deleted some files.

Now I still cannot log in to see the WP dashboard and my disk data size is now over limit and I cannot receive any emails.

Using FTP how do I get the site back to the very base with just WP installed with the default themes, so that I can add my own theme and create the site again?

I think I need to delete files first?

    Any help please?

Delete all your remote files by FTP and then reinstall/reupload WordPress. (BTW, this is a GREAT way to learn, by screwing things up and then learning from your mistakes. In theory, I should be a genius.)

haha rocipo at the moment it really doesn’t seem like a great way to learn!!!

i’m new to ftp and wordpress, which files do i delete?

When I log onto ftp I see a load of folders:

    .attracta
    .cpanel
    .fantasticodata
    .htpasswds
    .sqmailattach
    .sqmaildata
    access-logs
    etc
    mail
    public_ftp
    public_html
    tmp
