    Hello,

    I want to get your help with a rewrite issue for my homepage setup.

    Indeed, the page chosen when I go here:
    -> Settings> Reading> Home page: “[MY_PAGE]”

    resets when I update another parameter on another page and thus displays the default “Blog” page.
    I do not understand why.

    Maybe someone has already encountered a similar problem?

  • Try disabling all other plugins and activating the Twenty-Twenty theme. Do you still see the same behaviour?

    Hello,
    Thank you, problem solved.

    I deactivated the plugins one by one and the problem would come from the “FTC Importer” plugin provided for the installation of my theme.

    I imagine you can’t help me further and need to contact the author of the plugin? Or have you ever encountered a similar problem?

    Great news. I would inform both plugin authors of the conflict between their plugins. Hopefully, one or both will look into this and provide fix. Meanwhile, is it possible for you to leave the FTC importer plugin disabled?

    Currently yes, I can leave this plugin disabled. But maybe it will have to be reactivated so that the update of the theme is done correctly.

    When you report the issue to the authors of the FTC importer, they should be able to advise you whether the plugin a) must stay activated always, b) needs to be activated to update, or c) can be disabled and removed now that the theme is installed.
