Reset Password email not sending

    Hello,
    as other users have said, even though I get the message “reset email was sent successfully”, no email is sent at all.

    I tried with and without Post SMTP. No emails are logged at all, leaving the site, when I use the reset password form.
    Other emails are sent fine from the website.

    This message has been changed in UM 2.3.0 to be more secure:

    If an account matching the provided details exists, we will send a password reset link. Please check your inbox.

    Emails are sent when either the WP function username_exists or email_exists returns a valid user ID otherwise no emails.

    Have you tried using different emails to test the issue? What’s the email provider you use to test the issue? Gmail or Yahoo mail?

    Yes I have tried different existing accounts.
    Postman uses phpmailer at the moment and as mentioned, all other emails send fine.

    If you have verified by logging WP outgoing emails that the “Reset Password” email is being sent, ask your web hosting support about any errors or limitations at their email server.
