Tanks. It looks like I have another problem. In each language, I am only able to create/link a page in the same language?!

Seems you must still finish the configuration of the plugin. Read on here: https://github.com/lloc/Multisite-Language-Switcher/wiki/Settings#1-settings-in-the-administration-menu Even if these instructions are for an older version of the plugin, they are still valid.
