• Hi

Due to some theme/plugin conflict, I need to test something but completely deleting the theme and its files and the database where the theme files are stored and then reinstalling a completely fresh version of OceanWP. How can I do this? When I delete the OceanWP folder from wp-content>themes and reinstall it, it comes back with the same settings again.

    Thanks

  • Hello,

Use Reset WordPress plugin to do it. It will delete the all the posts/page etc and reset the wordpress to default.

Hi Amit. Thanks for the info but I definitely do not want the wordpress to go back to default. We have lots of orders and info on the website and we definitely dont want that wiped out. We just need to reinstall the OceanWP theme from scratch or somehow reset it back to its default settings as if it’s installed for the first time. Thanks

Okay, there is no default settings in the theme. Please try Reset Customizer plugin. Use it first on your staging site.
