    The reset email is showing raw html.

    All the other emails are working as expected.

    We are not using a custom template.

    The setting to send html email is turned on.

    Do you have any idea how to fix this?

    Thank you

    If you have made any customizations of the email template remove resetpw_email.php from your active theme’s /ultimate-member/email folder and the original template will be used from UM.

    Read this guide about “Email Templates”

    Thank you for reply. I deleted the email template.

    I tested again, and I am still see html.

    @squeaky

    Try to use a secure SMTP mail server instead of WP Mail if there is a misconfiguration of your web hosting’s mail server.

    Read this guide:

    https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/116-not-receiving-user-emails-or-admin-notifications

    If you install the “Post SMTP” plugin you will also get logging of all your outgoing emails and you can verify the format and content of each email.

    Thank you for your reply,

    I cannot use and SMTP plugin for this website. I have to use default WP mail.

    I am not using any custom templates for the email.

    All of the other emails from ultimate members are being sent and received as html. Only this reset password email is not.

    I did a test and installed ?“Post SMTP” for the logging.

    I sent a test and the email in the log looks like what I would expect, rendered html. I have other plugins for email login, showing me the same, rendered HTML Just like the other emails sent from UM.

    @squeaky

    If the email log is correct with the HTML your email is changed somewhere during the transport to your email client.

    You can compare the email source HTML sent with the received source HTML and use a text compare online tool like https://text-compare.com/ to identify the removed HTML.

    Ask your web hosting support about this issue if they have any HTML cleaning software by their email server.
