reset button to exclude some categories

Hi, I like to exclude some categories from the shop page , and after searching I added a hook to the functions.php file to exclude woocommerce categories from displaying in the shop page, and it worked perfectly, then decided to use the search widget of woof, I excluded the categories in the settings page, and every thing is working good except when clicking on the reset button it returns every single product to the results page, so how I can make the reset button to return back to the default shop page which has the only the categories I need.
