I removed an admin menu item and now I am unable to access the WPCAI Settings for the sidebar. It says I do not have authorization to view this page. I am an admin user. How can I reset the plugin and all the settings? I have access to PHPmyadmin

    Hi @davidjmorin,

Thanks for your enquiry. In the FAQ we have a question relating to this:

The custom admin menu has stuffed my site how can I get it back to normal

We don’t foresee such an event occuring but if you do happen to run into this you can visit: yourwebsite.com/index.php?wp-custom-admin-interface=delete-menu (replacing yourwebsite.com with your website) and this will delete all the options associated with the custom admin menu. You need to make sure you are still logged in to an admin account for this to work. If you don’t have admin access you’ll need to either remove the database option or delete the plugin entirely.

Also if that doesn’t work, what you can do is delete all plugin settings, and this can be done by downloading, installing and activating this plugin here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/op9j1wt9kx6gwiq/wp-custom-admin-interface-delete-settings.zip?dl=0. This plugin has no settings, it just needs to be activated and it will delete all settings related to the plugin and it will enable you to start again. Once the above-mentioned plugin is activated, don’t forget to deactivate the plugin and remove it, as if you keep it active it will continually delete the plugin settings so it won’t enable you to save new settings!

    Thanks,
